Mumbai: In a miraculous incident at Kannamwar Nagar, a construction worker survived after jumping from the 13th floor of an under-construction building. The worker, landed on safety nets installed on the 8th and 3rd floors before finally being caught in a ground-level net.

In an extraordinary escape from death, a laborer who jumped from the 13th floor of an under-construction building in Vikhroli’s Kannamwar Nagar area survived after getting caught in multiple safety nets. The worker, identified as 26-year-old Virjuprasad Ramesh Banarwa, had been under mental stress for several days.

Virjuprasad, a native of Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh, had been preparing to return to his hometown for two days. On January 13, he went to Tilak Nagar Terminus but instead of boarding a train, he approached police officers, claiming that someone was trying to kill him.

The police contacted his supervisor in Vikhroli, who took him back to the construction site.On Tuesday, Virjuprasad climbed to the 13th floor of building number 57 and jumped.

He landed on a safety net placed on the 8th floor. Not stopping there, he jumped again and was caught by another net on the 3rd floor.

When he made a final leap, he fell into a net held by workers below. Remarkably, he escaped without any injuries.The Vikhroli police arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation.

Authorities have arranged for his safe return to Gorakhpur with assistance from fellow workers. The incident has once again highlighted the unpredictability of fate and the value of safety measures at construction sites.
