Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Sri Sri Radha Madanmohanji Temple of ISKCON in Navi Mumbai. PM also offered prayers at what is now the second-largest ISKCON temple in Asia.
PM was accompanied by Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan, CM Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, and BJP MP Hema Malini during the ceremony.

After the inauguration, in his address PM said, "With ISKCON's efforts, Sri Sri Radha Madanmohanji Temple is being inaugurated here on this great land of knowledge and devotion. I am fortunate to have received the virtue of playing a role in such a ritual."
The PM highlighted that the outline of Sri Sri Radha Madanmohanji Temple reflects the entire tradition of spirituality and knowledge.
He said, "Keeping in mind the interest and attraction of the new generation, a museum containing the Ramayana and Mahabharata is being built here."
PM Modi acknowledged the ISKCON contribution in development of heritage in country and said, "In the country, development and heritage have progressed together. This mission of development through heritage is receiving significant support from institutions like ISKCON. Our temples and religious institutions have always been centers of social consciousness...I believe that under the guidance of ISKCON, the youth will work for the nation with a spirit of service and dedication. In this temple complex, the Bhakti Vedanta Ayurvedic Healing Center will also be available to people. My message for the world has always been 'Heal in India', for healthcare and for the overall well-being of individuals..."

Earlier today, PM dedicated three state-of-the-art front line naval combat vessel - destroyer INS Surat, stealth frigate INS Nilgiri and submarine INS Vaghsheer - to the nation at an impressive commissioning ceremony held at the Naval Dockyard.
The simultaneous commissioning of three naval vessels marked a new dawn of “Shaṁ No Varunaḥ” for the Indian Navy to have indigenous made-in-India warships and submarines in the sword arm of the naval fleet after 78 years of Independence.
