New Delhi: During a dispute about parking in a residential society in Greater Noida, six shots were fired and punches were exchanged between a resident and security guards. Gaurav Sisodia, a pub owner in Greater Noida residing at Radha Sky Gardens in Sector 16 B, reportedly discharged his licensed firearm while allegedly intoxicated. Luckily, the guards were able to dodge the bullets.
Police authorities informed that Sisodia has been arrested, and measures will be taken against him according to the investigation results and report by NDTV.
Viral clips show Sisodia confronting a guard and challenging him to hit him. "Why should I slap you? You are harassing poor guards," the guard says. "I am harassing poor people? You are misbehaving," Sisodia is heard saying in Hindi. Then he adds, "Come on, just touch me once."
Ashutosh Srivastav, a resident of Radha Sky Gardens, mentioned that certain residents and security personnel had been in disagreement regarding a parking issue for several days. He stated that the two parties exchanged strikes and insults three times on Monday.
"Late at night, a resident opened fire in the name of self-defence. He fired six times. Thankfully, no security guard was injured. Gaurav Sisodia, who lives here and owns Tathastu pub in Greater Noida West, had a drunken brawl with the guards and opened fire," Ashutosh said in a video message.
In a different video, Sisodia appears to threaten the guards while several individuals, among them women, attempt to restrain him. He mistreats the guards and blames them for assaulting women. "I'll shoot you," he states, then seizing a man by the collar as others attempt to separate them.
