Steve Jobs' Letter Auctioned Off For Rs 4.3 Crore

Now, another leave of his legacy was venerated at an auction when United Kingdom-based Bonhams, a private auctioning firm auctioned off one of Steve Jobs's handwritten letters for a whopping Rs 4,30,00,000 or Rs 4.3 crore.

This is no ordinary letter, as in this letter, the pioneer of smartphones, talked about going to India for the famed Kumbh Mela. This comes at a time when the Maha Kumbh Mela is currently in progress in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj.

In addition, Jobs' widow Laurene Powell Jobs is amongst the millions in attendance at the Maha Kumb Mela 2025.

When it comes to the letter, Steve Jobs penned the following

"Tim,

I have read your letter many times

I do not know what to say.

Many mornings have come and gone people have came and went

I have loved and I have cried many times.

Somehow, though, beneath it all it doesn't change - do you understand?"

The letter written over 50 years ago further stated his wish to attend the spiritual festivity. He wrote, "I am now living on a farm in the mountains between Los Gatos and Santa Cruz. I wish to go to India for the Kumba Mela, which starts in April. I will be leaving sometime in March, not really certain yet. If you desire, and I am still here when you arrive, we can come up here in the mountains together and you can tell me your thoughts and feelings, which I did not fully understand from your letter."

Steve Jobs concluded the letter by saying, "There is a fire in the other room and I am getting cold here. I will end by saying I do not even know where to begin.

Shanti,

Steve Jobs."

Steve Jobs who revolutionsed the world of technology was not religious, but is said to have had spiritual aspirations, away from the mainstream direction. Jobs passed away in 2011.
