Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav inaugurated ‘Swami Vivekananda Youth Shakti Mission' at Bhopal’s Ravindra Bhavan on Sunday.
Additionally, the 'Umang Higher Education and Wellness Program' was launched to promote the health and well-being of students. The students were also given encouragement letters during the event.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Yadav stated, By 2030, 100% youth should get 10-12th education, by 2028, 70% of youth should become self-reliant. For this, Madhya Pradesh government will help the youth in realizing their dreams."
"From the very beginning, our government has been working on transforming the lives of youth, farmers, the underprivileged, and women. We have set clear objectives, aiming to achieve significant progress in providing employment opportunities for maximum youth by 2028. Our vision is to empower our youth to become prosperous, capable, and self-reliant. I am confident that our Yuva Shakti Mission will achieve great success," he added.
Global Skill Park & TRIDENT Group sign MoU
A significant highlight of the program was the signing of an MoU between the Global Skill Park and the TRIDENT Group. The MoU aims at fostering skill development opportunities for the youth.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Mohan Yadav said, “We are carrying forward the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's GYAN (Global Youth Action Network) initiative. Encouraged from the initiative, Madhya Pradesh government will remain committed to empowering young people through education and skill development. This will also enable them to achieve their dreams.”
“This mission is expected to play a key role in creating an educated, capable, and empowered youth force that contributes to building a strong society and nation," the CM concluded.
The event saw the presence of several dignitaries, including State President and MP Vishnu Dutt Sharma, Cabinet Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang and Minister of State (Independent Charge) Krishna Gaur, among others.
20th installment of Ladli Behna
On the occasion of Vivekananda Jayanti, ₹1,250 was also be transferred to the accounts of 'Ladli Behnas' from Kalapipal tehsil of Shajapur district.
A Skill University will be established to provide job-oriented training in various sectors like tourism, agriculture, and services.
55 PM Shri Colleges of Excellence have already been set up to improve access to higher education for all.
Plans are underway to open 25 new medical colleges within two years under the PPP model.

IT parks in Rewa and Ujjain will create job opportunities for locals.
Regional Industry Conclaves will promote skill-based employment across the state.
Special schemes will support youth entrepreneurship, encouraging innovation and economic growth.
Social and Cultural Engagement
The initiative will promote environmental conservation, cultural heritage preservation, and awareness against social evils.
Sports and cultural activities will enhance mental and physical well-being among youth.
