Ayodhya: Arrangements are in progress for the first anniversary of Ram Lalla’s ‘pran pratishtha’ in Ayodhya, scheduled for January 11-13. The event is being organized by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust along with the district administration, and it will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who will also carry out the abhishek of Ram Lalla. On the initial day of Pratishtha Dwadashi, Ram Lalla will be adorned in a unique Pitambari, made in Delhi with golden and silver threads, reaching Ayodhya on Friday for darshan on January 11.

The abhishek ceremony will begin at 10 am, just like last year's ‘pran pratishtha’ event, which includes anointing with ‘panchamrit’ and Saryu water. The primary aarti is set for 12:20 pm.

Around 110 VIPs are anticipated to be present, and a German hangar tent at Angad Tila can hold as many as 5,000 individuals. This year, the trust has invited regular citizens who couldn’t attend last year's ceremony to experience cultural performances, rituals, and Ram katha discourses.

General Secretary Champat Rai emphasized the significance of involving ordinary people in the festivities. The trust has called upon saints and devotees from across the country, with extensive preparations and decorations in progress at the yajnashala location, offering a special chance for public involvement in the Ram Mandir celebrations.
