The board claims that it is against its rules to use residential land for non-residential uses.

According to Sports Tak report, a diagnostic center was being established at Dhoni's home in Harmu sparked the uproar. In light of this, the board has mandated an inquiry to ascertain the original intent behind the plot's allocation and if it is being utilized in compliance with the regulations.
