Mumbai: SpiceJet will fly special daily flights to Prayagraj exclusively for Mahakumbh Mela 2025 from Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad. These flights will operate from January 12 to February 28, offering millions of pilgrims a seamless and convenient travel option to one of the world’s largest religious congregations.

SpiceJet announced the launch of daily special flights to Prayagraj on Friday. These flights will connect Prayagraj to Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad exclusively for the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025. Notably, SpiceJet will be the only airline offering non-stop flights between Ahmedabad and Prayagraj, providing pilgrims from Gujarat with a seamless and convenient travel option.

About The Mahakumbh Mela

The Mahakumbh Mela is the world’s largest public congregation of faith, drawing ascetics, saints, sadhus, sadhvis, kalpavasis, and pilgrims from all walks of life. Scheduled to take place in Prayagraj from January 13 to February 26, the once in twelve years Maha Kumbh Mela is expected to attract around 40 crore people who will visit the congregation to make it a once-in-a-lifetime spiritual experience.

Seizing the opportunity, SpiceJet will run daily flights to Prayagraj from four airports including Mumbai. The daily flight ‘SG 656’ from Prayagraj to Mumbai will depart at 10.30 am and reach Mumbai Airport at 12.50 pm. Similarly, the return flight ‘SG 657’ from Mumbai will depart at 1.40 pm and is expected to reach Prayagraj at 3.50 pm.
