The Design Aptitude Test (DAT) preliminary admit card will be released by the National Institute of Design tomorrow, December 24, 2024. The official schedule states that January 5, 2025, is when the NID DAT preliminary exam for BDes and MDes programs will take place.

The final NID DAT result 2025 will be prepared by giving weightage to DAT Prelims and DAT Mains, with 40% weightage to DAT Prelims and 60% weightage to DAT Mains for B.Des, and 30% weightage to DAT Prelims, 40% weightage to Studio Test, and 30% weightage to Personal Interview for M.Des.

After registering for the exam, candidates need to download their admit card by entering their email address and password on the official website, admissions.nid.edu.

Step 3: Send in your login information
Step 4: The screen will display the NID DAT Admit Card 2025.

Step 5: Examine and save the hall pass.

Screening Process

The exam will consist of two parts: preliminary and mains. To be considered for admission, students must pass both the preliminary and main exams.

Exam pattern

The NID DAT 2025 exam pattern consists of two stages: DAT Prelims and DAT Mains. DAT Prelims is a paper-and-pencil test that evaluates candidates' creativity, design aptitude, and problem-solving skills. The test duration for DAT Prelims is expected to be around 3 hours for B.Des and 2.5 hours for M.Des, although the exact duration will be announced in the admit card.
