Renowned playback singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya opened up on his fallout with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in a recent podcast, and stated that while SRK has class, Salman was not worthy of a mention by the singer. He also grabbed eyeballs after he indirectly called the Dabangg actor 'daarubaaz' and 'tharki'.

In his interview with Shubhankar Mishra, Abhijeet revealed that there sure were differences between him and SRK, but all of that was only professional. He also stated that his bond with SRK was like that of a 'husband and wife'.

Expressing his desire to reconcile, Abhijeet stated that his voice complemented the actor perfectly, and it contributed to both of their successes.

During the same interview, Abhijeet refused to speak about Salman, stating, "Salman abhi bhi unme nahi aata ke main uske baare me charcha karu. Inke baare me aap mujhse baat mat karo."

He also addressed his past remarks when he had seemingly defended Salman in the hit and run case. Reacting to it, Abhijeet stated that he did not defend Salman, but rather had only said that if one sleeps on the road, then a drunk driver might run over them.

"Maine kaha ye jo hota hai...road par soyenge to ek daarubaaz aayega daaru pike gaadi chadha dega tumhare upar. Road par kutte ki tarah so rahe ho. To ek daarubaaz aayega, ek tharki, ab kyu merese wo karwa rahe ho...ye sab chize thi..." an irritated Abhijeet said, and netizens wondered if he indirectly called Salman an alcoholic.

Abhijeet has sung a number of chartbuster songs for Salman including Tan Tana Tan, Chunari Chunari, Tumne Jo Kaha, Chori Chori Sapno Mein, among others.

On the other hand, most of Abhijeet's biggest hits feature Shah Rukh Khan, such as Woh Ladki Jo, Aur Kya, Tumhe Jo Maine Dekha, Suno Na Suno Na, Tauba Tumhare Ishare, I Am The Best, Bas Itna Sa Khwaab, Badshah O Badshah, to name a few.
