Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 20-year-old woman was allegedly abducted by his former fiancé in broad daylight in Bhopal’s Bhanpur area on Friday. The accused reportedly arrived at the location in an auto-rickshaw, forcibly held the girl's hand, made her sit in the auto, and fled the scene.

The accused, who was the ex fiancé of the victim, is on the run. A case has been registered by the police. A thorough investigation into the matter has begun, and police have assured the family that the victim will be found soon.

According to information, the victim, identified as 20-year-old Muskan, was engaged to the accused, Imran. However, the family broke off the engagement after learning about Imran’s criminal background. Despite the engagement being called off, Imran continued to pressure the family for marriage.

When Muskan's family did not agree, Imran took the matter into his own hands. On Friday afternoon, he hired an autorickshaw and planned for an elaborate yet simple kidnapping. Imran called the victim out of her residence on the pretext of talking. When she came out of the house, Imran grabbed her hand, forcibly made her sit in the auto, and fled the scene.

Police investigation

When Muskan's family received the information about her abduction, they immediately contacted police. A complaint has been lodged by the police, and they have started a lookout for the victim. Police have assured the family members that they will bring back the victim and take appropriate action against the accused.
