Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): In view of reconstruction of Dewasgate Bus Stand situated in the middle of the city and Simhastha Mahaparv-2028, in order to facilitate smooth movement of passengers is smooth and traffic flow, the Power Point presentation of Dewasgate Bus Stand was observed by MLA Anil Jain Kaluheda, Mayor Mukesh Tatwal, Ujjain Municipal Corporation (UMC) speaker Kalavati Yadav and commissioner Ashish Pathak at UMC headquarters meeting room on Friday.

In the presentation, the concerned consultant informed that a G+2 building of 4,671 square metre will be constructed at Dewasgate Bus Stand in which more than 30 buses can be dispatched every hour.

Besides, parking facility for more than 250 four-wheelers, platform design for 15 buses, an 80-room hotel has been proposed. There will be food court, shops, G+1 Sulabh Complex and basement facility.

HERITAGE COMMUNITY HALL

The UMC is constructing the city's first community hall with a heritage look at Moti Nagar near Prashanti Dham in ward number 48 at a cost of Rs 3.88 crore, which will include parking, kitchen, three large halls and rooms, which will be made available to citizens at low cost for organising weddings.

On Friday, Mayor Mukesh Tatwal along with public works committee in-charge Shivendra Tiwari, MiC member Prakash Sharma an executive engineer Piyush Bhargava inspected the construction site and directed officials to complete the work by January.
