The agitators burned an effigy of Shah at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Chowk in the city and also slapped Shah's portrait with chappals. They shouted slogans against Shah.
This comes after Union Home Minister Amit Shah, during a discussion on the Constitution in Rajya Sabha, made a controversial statement on Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. On Wednesday, Ambedkarite organizations and political parties in Purna condemned the statement and demanded that Shah apologize.

District Industry Centre To Organize Workshop
The District Industry Centre will organize a one-day workshop on ‘Facilitation of Export’ for industrialists, exporters, and businesses on December 23 at 9 am. The workshop will be held at the Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA) Hall, Bajaj Bhavan, Railway Station MIDC.
Industry Development Commissioner Dipendra Kushwah will guide the audience, while the District Collector Dilip Swami will preside over the event. During the workshop, discussions on export policies, processes, encouragement, banking systems, and foreign business will be held by experts Ajay Korla, Mukesh Samtani, Sahdev Satpute, Maulik Mawani, Suyog Bhase, Amol Mohite, Swapnil Rathod, and others.
Industry Joint Director B.T. Yashwante and District Industry Centre’s General Manager Swapnil Rathod have appealed to the people to participate in the workshop in large numbers.
Sattar interacts with Party workers
Former minister Abdul Sattar did not receive the place in the state cabinet announced recently. After the announcement, Sattar interacted with the party workers and his supporters in a convention held in Sillod taluka on Thursday. He convinced them that they did not have to worry as he has not received a place in the state cabinet, but he will come as a minister soon.
Sattar said, the opponents during the assembly polls made a propaganda of the castiest politics. However, due to the support of the people, he could win the elections for the fourth consecutive time. It is all because of the efforts taken by the party workers and his supporters, who worked day and night for his victory, he said.

Rashtrasant Gadge Maharaj death anniversary observed
Su-Laxmi Bahuddeshiya Sevabhavi Sanstha observed the death anniversary of Rashtrasant Gadge Baba at Manuski Vruddha Sevalaya on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, director Sumit Pandit said, he started the old age home through the inspiration of Gadge Baba. His thoughts had always been an inspiration of all. He told us to educate children and should not spent time on worshipping the stone idols. Those conquer oneself can conquer the entire world, Pandit said.
