Noida: Fitness influencer and YouTuber Rajveer Shishodia was arrested by the Noida police after a viral video showed him assaulting a man during a road rage incident. The video, initially uploaded on Rajveer’s official social media account, quickly gained widespread attention but was later deleted. It captured Shishodia violently confronting a man who was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run case.

According to Rajveer, the incident began when the man's car hit his vehicle and attempted to flee the scene. While trying to escape, the driver allegedly collided with two motorbikes and a taxi, further escalating the situation. Rajveer claimed the driver was allegedly drunk and his reckless behaviour posed a major danger to others on the road, including pedestrians and vehicles.

Video Shows Rajveer Abusing, Assaulting Man On Road

In the video, Rajveer is seen chasing the man’s car, forcing it to stop after a short distance. He then dragged the driver out of the vehicle, verbally abused him and began physically assaulting him in the middle of the road. Despite the man’s repeated pleas for mercy, Rajveer continued slapping and thrashing him. The victim’s clothes were visibly torn during the altercation, as captured in the video.

The video sparked outrage online and many netizens demanded strict action against the influencer. Some came out for his support as he thrashed the man, while many saw his behaviour as threatening and arrogant, demanding legal action against him. His behaviour was also compared to his former rival and Bigg Boss 18 contestant Rajat Dalal, who had hit a biker with a speeding SUV recently.

Noida Police Takes Action Against Rajveer

Noida police took note of the viral video. Taking swift action, the police from Phase-3 Police Station arrested Rajveer Shishodia. They confirmed the arrest through an official social media statement, saying, “Taking cognizance of the viral video, Phase-3 Police Station arrested the accused involved in the assault.” Further details on charges against the fitness influencer are awaited.
