Kia India has introduced the all-new Syros, a premium subcompact SUV designed to cater to modern urban lifestyles and tech-savvy buyers. Built on the advanced K1 platform, the Syros sets itself apart with standout features such as sliding, reclining, and ventilated rear seats, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and Level 2 ADAS with 16 autonomous safety features. It also boasts a robust safety package with 20 high-standard features, ensuring comprehensive protection for occupants.

Positioned as a more luxurious alternative to the Kia Sonet, the Syros shares similar powertrains while offering enhanced comfort and advanced technology. The SUV is available in six trims—HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+, and HTX+ (O)—aiming to provide a versatile range of options for buyers.

Kia Syros introduces a fresh design direction, departing from the brand's previous subcompact SUVs like the Sonet and Seltos. Drawing inspiration from global models such as the Kia EV9, EV5, and EV3, the Syros boasts an upright, boxy stance aimed at maximizing interior space. The exterior design incorporates Kia’s "Opposites United" philosophy, blending bold aesthetics with practical features. Key highlights include the signature Starmap LED lighting, the Digital Tiger Face grille, and 17-inch crystal-cut alloy wheels. The streamlined door handles, puddle lamps with Kia’s logo projection, and sculpted contours further enhance the SUV’s distinctive and commanding road presence.

Kia Syros features a spacious 2,550mm wheelbase, offering a reimagined interior with segment-first sliding and reclining 60:40 split rear seats for adjustable boot space. Both front and rear ventilated seats enhance comfort, while a 76.2 cm (30”) Trinity Panoramic Display and connected car navigation cockpit elevate the cabin’s tech offerings. Premium touches like a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, sporty alloy pedals, 64-color ambient lighting, a double D-cut steering wheel, and a 4-way powered driver seat contribute to an atmosphere of modern luxury.

Kia Syros comes with two engine options: a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine generating 120PS and 172Nm of torque, and a 1.5-liter CRDi diesel engine producing 116PS and 250Nm. Both engines are offered with manual and automatic transmission options. With a 2,550mm wheelbase and enhanced suspension, the Syros delivers a comfortable ride, balancing agility for city driving with stability on longer journeys.

Kia Syros is equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety features, including 16 autonomous driving aids under Level 2 ADAS, such as Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Lane Keep Assist, and Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go. It also offers a 360-degree camera with a Blind View Monitor for enhanced visibility. For added security, the Syros comes with 20 robust standard safety features, including Electronic Stability Control, Hill Start Assist, six airbags, and an Electric Parking Brake with Auto Hold, providing a safer and more intuitive driving experience.
