Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Jabalpur, staged a strong protest against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and burnt his effigy on Thursday. The demonstration was organized in response to an alleged controversial statement made by the Congress leader against Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

The protest, held at Ambedkar Chowk, saw a large gathering of BJP youth workers raising slogans against the Congress party.

‘Rahul Gandhi will not be allowed to enter Jabalpur’

During the incident, a scuffle also broke out between the protesters and the police. The cops were deployed in large numbers to maintain order.

BJYM district president Yogendra Singh warned that Rahul Gandhi would not be allowed to enter Jabalpur after this. He accused the Congress of making disrespectful statements against BJP leaders and said such remarks would not be tolerated.

Police plans to intensify vigilance

Singh further stated that Rahul Gandhi's comments against Amit Shah were not just an insult to BJP leaders but also to its workers and supporters. He warned Congress to stop such behavior or face a strong response from the BJP youth wing.

The police, however, took the situation under control despite the heated environment. They also plan to remain vigilant for future protests.
