The Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA) has announced the first edition of the prestigious CMIA Industry Awards 2025, aimed at recognizing excellence in the industrial sector. The last day for filing nominations will be February 7, 2025. The applications will be scrutinized between February 10 and 28 and presented to the Juries on March 10. The award function will be held on April 18, 2025, the organizers said.
Briefing the press, CMIA President Arpit Save said that these awards, dedicated exclusively to CMIA members in the Marathwada region, celebrate enterprises that drive economic growth, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The awards will be presented across seven categories – Customer Orientation, Innovative Product, Industry 4.0, Environmental Awareness, HR Champion, Entrepreneur (Individual), and Global SME – divided into three segments: Micro, Small, Medium, and Large Enterprises. The award ceremony will be held on April 18, 2025, to celebrate outstanding contributions to the industrial sector.
Save stated, "This initiative aims to encourage and acknowledge the outstanding efforts of small, medium, and large enterprises in Marathwada. With leading industries like Toyota, Ather, JSW, Lubrizol, and Piramal investing in the region, there is immense potential for local industries to grow and thrive. This awards initiative will showcase the remarkable processes and innovations being implemented in the region’s industrial sector."
CMIA Vice President Utsav Machhar remarked, "The awards process offers an excellent opportunity for local enterprises to validate their capabilities and gain recognition. With CMIA’s efforts to attract significant investments to the region, these awards serve as a platform to market our achievements and potential on a larger scale."
The jury panel for the awards will include economist Dr. Narendra Jadhav, industrialist Lila Poonawalla, management expert Dr. Rukhmini Banerji, and financial expert Dr. Narendra Mairpadi.
The CMIA Industry Awards 2025 will serve as a vital step in highlighting the achievements and potential of industries in the Marathwada region, helping to further boost its industrial growth.
