The results of the Combined Graduate Engineering Entrance Examination (CGEPT) 2024 have been formally released by the Indian Coast Guard. Those who took the test can now view their results at joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in, the official ICG website.

The Indian Coast Guard CGEPT exam was conducted for the recruitment of Navik (General Duty) and Yantrik posts. A total of 320 vacancies were announced, with 260 vacancies for Navik (GD) posts and 60 for Yantrik posts

How to check?

Candidates will need their email address and password in order to view the results.

Step 1: Visit https://joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in/, the Indian Coast Guard's official website.
Step 2: On the "News and Announcements" page, look for the "CGEPT Results" or a comparable link.
Step 3: This will take you to the page with the results.

Step 4: You'll need to enter your password and registered email address.
Step 5: Submit the form once your credentials have been entered. You will see your outcome on the screen.
Step 6: Download your outcome for your records.

Candidates are selected based on their performance in the written examination, physical fitness test, medical examination, and interview. Upon selection, candidates will undergo training and be appointed as Navik or Yantrik in the Indian Coast Guard. They will be responsible for various duties, including maritime law enforcement, search and rescue operations, and protection of India's maritime interests.
