Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Elections to the Indore High Court Bar Association, which are held every two years, concluded on Wednesday. Ritesh Inani was elected as the president for the second time. Chief election officer Manoj Dwivedi said that counting started at 5 pm.

A total of 26 candidates were in fray for nine posts in the election. In all, 2,232 lawyers voted in the election. In the election, Ritesh Inani was elected as the president.

Lokesh Mehta will be secretary, Sagar Muley will be joint secretary and executive members elected are Prateek Jain, Saurabh Jain, Uddav Shrivastava, Shubham Narvare and Anmol Khushwah.

Former additional advocate general of High Court Indore, chief election officer Manoj Dwivedi and additional election officer advocate Ajay Mishra said that 35 booths were set up for voting.

These include separate booths for senior advocates and women advocates. In the election, 5 lawyers were contended for the post of president while 4 lawyers were contesting for the post of secretary. HY Mehta, Suraj Sharma, Amit Upadhyay, Anil Ojha and Ritesh Inani were contesting for the post of president. 

Yogesh Mehta, Nitin Singh Bhati, Akhil Godha, Ankit Parashar for the post of secretary. Vinod Kumar Dwivedi, Dharmendra Sahu, Mridul Bhatnagar, Sapnesh Jain, Sonali Gupta were in the fray for the post of vice-president and Satanand Choubey, Sonal Sharma, Sagar Mule, Bundel Singh Jatav were for the post of joint secretary.

Anmol Kushwaha, Prateek Jain, Rameshkumar Arora, Raunak Badwaya, Saurabh Jain, Shubham Narware, Uddhav Srivastava, Vijay Gulani was in the fray for the five members of the executive committee.
