Recently, Ranbir Kapoor faced backlash by netizens for ignoring his wife, actress Alia Bhatt at Raj Kapoor’s 100th birth anniversary celebrations, which took place in Mumbai. Often criticised as a 'misogynist,' his Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year co-star, Gauahar Khan, has defended him, calling him a 'gentleman.'
Gauahar took to her Instagram story and re-shared an Instagram Reel defending Kapoor, which is titled, 'The Ranbir Kapoor they don’t post about.' The video showcases Ranbir affectionately caring for Alia Bhatt and assisting Kareena Kapoor Khan's father, Randhir Kapoor, highlighting his kind gestures.
She wrote, "Seriously so unfair! I’m glad there are such posts that show how unfair certain posts are, that can unnecessarily put someone in a certain light. Ranbir is a gentleman!"

Interestingly, Alia has also liked the video.
The caption of the video reads, "The side of Ranbir that social media doesn’t show, they cut a 2-sec clip out of context and run a whole lot of negative PR with it. Meanwhile, this is the reality. It’s crazy to me how easily people can be fooled."
On the work front, Gauahar will be seen next in Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta's newly launched platform, Dreamiyata Dramaa's new show, Lovely Lolla, alongside Isha Malviya in the lead.
Gauahar will be playing the role of a mother, while Isha will portray her daughter. Veteran actress Dolly Ahluwalia has also joined the cast, playing Khan's mother and Malviya's grandmother.
