Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A man has been booked for sharing an obscene video of two women as his WhatsApp status in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur on Wednesday.
The controversial video shared by Akhtar Mansuri shows the two women allegedly making out in a bedroom, invading their privacy. The accused used Lord Shiva’s song as the background music, further offending Hindu outfits.
The details of the video have not been included as per FPJ's policy.
According to information, this incident took place in the Katangi area of Jabalpur.
The video was shared on Mansuri’s social media status and later circulated widely.
It sparked outrage among the residents and Hindu organisations. They immediately approached the Katangi police station, demanding strict action against the accused.
According to the police, Mansuri's actions not only violated the privacy of the women in the video but also disrespected religious beliefs.
Following the complaints, the police registered a case against him under the IT Act and began their investigation.
This is not the first such incident in Jabalpur.
Not the first Social Media blunder…
A few days ago, another case surfaced where a youth made a video of Lord Kaal Bhairav being offered a cigarette and shared it online. After protests from Hindu groups and local residents, the police initiated an inquiry into that matter as well.
Both incidents have raised concerns about the growing misuse of social media to hurt religious beliefs and invade privacy. The local community is demanding stricter regulations to prevent such acts in the future.
