Indore (Madhya Pradesh):  The members of National Educated Youth Union (NEYU) staged a huge protest in front of Indore’s MPPSC (Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission) office on Wednesday.

The protestors, hundreds in numbers, demanded reforms to ensure more transparency in the recruitment process of MPPSC. Some of their major demands include showing answer sheets of 2019 mains exam, declaring 2023 results, dismissing 87/13 Formula. 

According to information, the protest was followed by a march that started on Wednesday morning from DD Park near Bhawarkua and ended at the MPPSC office. The participants raised various demands and submitted a memorandum.

Here’s the list of demands presented by NEYU:

87/13 Formula system must be ended and results should be released with 100% transparency.

Notification for 700 posts in State Services and 100 posts in Forest Services should be released for MPPSC 2025.

Copies of 2019 Mains Exam be displayed, and mark sheets should be released.

State Services Mains Exam 2023 results must be declared.

Mains exam copies must be evaluated similarly to CGPSC.

No incorrect questions should be set in prelims, like UPSC.

Negative marking should be started.

Interview marks should be reduced.

During interviews, candidates' names, categories, or surnames must not be revealed.

The protest also aims to encourage the MPPSC aspirants to join the protest in order to bring the solicited reforms into existence.
