Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Ten police personnel were honoured for their exceptional contributions to policing on Tuesday during a weekly programme initiated under the guidance of Police Commissioner Indore, Santosh Kumar Singh.
The event was held at the Palasia office and saw the awardees receive certificates of appreciation and a cash reward of Rs 1,000 each. The programme aims to boost morale by recognising officers excelling in various areas of duty.
The awards were presented for significant achievements such as combating drug trafficking, resolving CM Helpline complaints, preventing suicide attempts and aiding in technical investigations. Sub-inspector Raviraj Singh Bais (Aerodrum), for his role in bail cancellation of criminals and Lokesh Gathe (Chhoti Gwaltoli)for saving a woman attempting self-immolation and constable Sajan Dudve excelled in resolving CM helpline.
Officers Rakesh Parmar and Vijay Raghuwanshi (Khajrana) were acknowledged for drug seizures, while Nagendra Singh (Sanyogitaganj) apprehended suspects with illegal weapons.
Constables Gaurav Parmar, Abhishek Rathore and Ritesh Solanki were commended for their work in cybercrime investigations and drug-related cases, while Gautam Verma excelled in tracking accused through digital evidence.
Additional police commissioner Amit Singh and other senior officers applauded the recipients for their dedication and encouraged them to continue delivering exemplary service.
