Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A woman and her daughter were hit by a scooter in the Aerodrome area in which the woman got critically injured. But despite allegedly visiting the police station five to six times the police have not registered a case even after a week.

Now the woman’s daughter has sought the help of senior officers so that action can be taken against the scooter rider and his two friends, who fled the scene leaving their scooter on the spot. The incident took place on December 8.

Manju Narval, a resident of Nagin Nagar area of the city along with his daughter Nandini was going to market when a scooter hit them from behind. Nandini informed the media persons that there were three youths on the scooter and her mother endured a fracture in one of her legs.

After hitting them, the youths managed to flee from the spot leaving their scooter.  Nandini said that the incident was also captured on a CCTV installed near the spot. She along with the CCTV footage and scooter’s key reached Aerodrome police station but police didn’t take action against the youths.  

She alleged that she visited the police station five to six times but the police didn’t hear them. A complaint has been given to senior officials to take action against the accused.
