Mumbai: A shocking incident has emerged from the Kurla BEST bus accident, where gold bangles were stolen from the hand of a deceased woman. A viral video on social media shows a man, wearing a helmet, removing bangles from the woman's hand. Following the outrage triggered by the video, the Kurla Police registered a case against an unidentified biker on December 12.

The deceased woman, identified as Kannis Ansari (55), worked as a helper at Desai Hospital, as informed by her son, Abbas Ali. She was wearing gold bangles at the time of the accident. Abbas suspects that the individual who returned his mother's purse and mobile phone to his younger brother might have stolen the bangles.

The viral video captures two individuals approaching the woman's lifeless body and removing the bangles. One of them is seen wearing a blue helmet. The incident, recorded by bystanders, has sparked outrage online.

The police have registered a case under Sections 304 and 315 of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita and are actively investigating the matter. CCTV footage and mobile recordings are being examined to identify the culprits, and information from the victim's family is being collected.

The Kurla BEST bus accident claimed seven lives and injured 42 others, leaving families devastated. The theft has added to the grief and anger of the victim's loved ones, amplifying the tragedy of the incident.
