The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has extended the registration deadline for the recruitment exam for Sub-Inspector (SI), Subedar, and Platoon Commander positions. Eligible candidates can now submit their applications via the official website, psc.cg.gov.in, until December 25. Previously, the application window was open from October 23 to November 21.
Additionally, the commission has extended the window for making corrections to the application forms. Candidates can edit their applications without a fee from December 26 to December 27, 2024. After this, from December 28 to December 29, candidates can make paid corrections.
The official notice stated, "Corrections to the application form can be made from December 26, 2024, at noon to December 27, 2024, at 11:59 pm. Paid corrections will be allowed from December 28, 2024, at noon to December 29, 2024, at 11:59 pm."
The recruitment drive aims to fill 341 vacancies for Subedars, SIs, and Platoon Commanders in the Chhattisgarh Police Department.

The commission has also approved a one-time relaxation under Rule 8[3] (a) and (b) of the Chhattisgarh Police Executive (Non-Gazetted) Service Recruitment Rules 2021. As per the amendment, male candidates from the Scheduled Tribe category must have a minimum height of 163 cm, with revised chest measurements of 83 cm expanded and 78 cm unexpanded.
