The 2025 Elimination Chamber will the last time John Cena will be taking part in the pay per view event. The Elimination Chamber event, scheduled for March 1, 2025, in Toronto, will see Cena wrestling “Last Time Ever” in the match. WWE shared the poster of Cena's participation in the event with a caption which read, "The time is NOW!Don't miss @JohnCena's LAST TIME EVER in Toronto at Elimination Chamber."
Cena, one of WWE’s most legendary figures, has confirmed that 2025 will be the year of his retirement, kicking off his farewell tour in January. Cena first revealed his plans for retirement during WWE’s Money In The Bank event in Toronto.
He had said, “This farewell does not end tonight. It is filled with opportunity. I want to say thank you. Thank you so much for letting me play in the house that you built for so many years. Thank you so much, always, for your voice, ’cause it’s really loud, and your honesty, ’cause it’s beautifully brutal… So if you are watching at home, or if you are one of the insanely loud here in Toronto, Canada, or if you’re a WWE superstar: If you want some, hurry up and come get some, ’cause the last time is now!”
The 2025 Elimination Chamber will be Cena's first appearance in the match since 2018. Cena has been a part of seven Chamber matches, winning it three times – in 2006, 2010, and 2011. Cena is also set to participate in the Royal Rumble and is expected to play a key role at WrestleMania 41 in April 2025.
