"Justice (needed) for Dosa..."

The video of the Paan Dosa was posted online by food vloggers Dr. Sravani & Ravi, who mark their online presence with the Instagram handle 'Epic foodie traveller'. Introducing the bizarre recipe to people, they captioned the post saying, "Justice (needed) for Dosa".

Meme fest!

In the food reel, the chef was seen pouring a thick green Dosa batter on a hot pan, followed by evenly spreading it across the cooking tool. This is how it started. What happened next left people stunned. The person was seen adding Paan ingredients like dates, cashew, and coconut-sugar powder to the Dosa.

This unusual twist to the much-loved South India dish sparked laughter. It triggered a meme fest on Instagram as people couldn't digest the fact such a weird dish exists. Memes taking inspiration from Rajnikanth, Shark Tank, films, and cartoon shows surfaced online.

The video of "Paan Dosa" also attracted a bunch of reactions. People expressed disgust towards the dish and didn't even think for a while to give it a try. "Please don't do this", one wrote while finding the dish to be an unjust act towards Dosa lovers. "Justice for Dosa", said another.

One of the hilarious confusion among netizens with respect to this dish was "When should we eat this?" Noting that Dosa is a meal in itself, while Paan is a post-meal thing, the fusion of the two left people wondering whether this was a main course or something similar to a mouth freshener.
