The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in collaboration with National Investigation Agency (NIA) has successfully facilitated the return of wanted Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) operative Salman Rehman Khan from Rwanda through Interpol channels.

Salman Rehman Khan, along with his associate Junaid Ahmad, was absconding in a high-profile case involving the radicalisation of inmates at Bengaluru's Parappana Agrahara Central Prison. The case, originally registered by Bengaluru City Police further led to detection of cache of arms and ammunition which included seven pistols, four hand grenades, one magazine, 45 live rounds, and four walkie-talkies.
