Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Police instructed the resort, private club and farmhouse owners of the rural areas not to allow anyone to organize rave parties there under any circumstance. Also, they have to take permission before organising any programme or event in their properties otherwise they will have to face police action.

The instructions were given by additional SP (rural) Rupesh Kumar Dwivedi during a meeting at Khudel police station premises on Wednesday. On the instruction of SP (rural) HitikaVasal, ASP Dwivedi and DSP (rural) UmakantChowdhary called a meeting with the owners of resorts, private clubs and farmhouses under Khudel and Simorol police station limits.

To prevent the increasing prevalence of drug abuse in resorts and private clubs, the following guidelines were issued by the officials.  

1. No rave party of any kind should be organised in any farm house, resort and private club.  

2. Instructions were given not to allow drug consumption or illegal activity in the farmhouse, resort and private clubs.  

3. There should be no commercial activities in any private farmhouse.  

4. Instructions were given to install CCTV cameras in all farmhouses, resorts and private clubs and to ensure whether the CCTV cameras installed are currently working or not.  

5. Instructions were given to install proper fire safety equipment to deal with emergency situations and to take fire NOC.  

6. Various guidelines were given regarding not organizing any kind of event at night and taking due permission before organising the event.  

In the presence of Khudel police station in charge Karni Singh Shaktawat and Police Station Incharge Simrol, the resort, private club and farmhouse owners present in the meeting were strictly instructed to follow the above instructions and a copy of the above instructions was made available to all of them.
