Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, on the conclusion of his UK tour, said the visit was significant in many ways. Reflecting on the potential opportunities in Madhya Pradesh, he expressed satisfaction that proposals amounting to Rs 60,000 crore have been received. These include sectors like healthcare, industry, mining, service sector and agriculture, where substantial interest was shown.
Yadav highlighted that Madhya Pradesh has immense potential in the automotive sector.
During the visit to Warwick University in London on Wednesday, the CM interacted with Dean of Warwick Manufacturing Group, Robin Clark.
Yadav also spoke to the Indian students at the university. In the morning, he visited the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir where he offered prayers and talked to the seers there.
Yadav said Hindu Sanatana Dharma not only spread across the world but also attracted people towards worshipping 33 gods and goddesses.
Yadav said, It is the specialty of Hinduism that there are different branches of Sanatana Dharma. Our culture spreads across the world through every branch. It is the beauty of Sanatana Dharma that we have worshipped our 33 crore deities in their every form and followed the path shown by them." He also praised the beauty of the architecture of the temple.
"There are wood crafts and artifacts. The biggest thing in all these crafts is that they inculcate good virtues in human beings. Sanatan teaches us to follow the path of humanity, he said. Yadav is on a six-day visit to the United Kingdom and Germany to attract investments. He was invited by the Indian High Commission in the UK to a ceremony to mark the anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.
At the event, Yadav delivered an address that captured the collective pain of the devastating terror attack. His speech acknowledged the impact of the event, recognising two distinct groups of witnesses: those who experienced the horror firsthand, and the millions of citizens who watched it on television screen.
Yadav holds talks over setting global airport, IT hub in Bhopal
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has interacted with the representatives of Friends of MP Chapter during his trip to London. The meeting was related to setting up of an international airport and an IT hub in Bhopal.
During the talks with Yadav, Abid Faruqui, who is working for development of Bhopal and for setting up air connectivity, put up the proposal for establishing a start-up IT Company in Bhopal. Faruqui is the founder of Air Connectivity for Bhopal Development (AFBD). He said fresh engineering graduates will be imparted training and jobs in IT sector.
Yadav said the states preparations for setting up the proposed international airport in Bhopal were on the verge of completion.
Industrialists have shown interests in setting up units in various sectors, Yadav said, adding that they have come forward to invest in IT sector, education, renewal energy, industry, mining, food processing, medical sector and semiconductor.

Yadav had one-to-one conversation with the representatives of Indorama Group, SRAM & MRAM Group, Cyanconnode, Hybrid Air Vehicles Limited, Clinisupplies, Aurora Energy Research, Elsevier, WeDeliver, Capro, Wavesight, The Montcalm Luxury Hotels, Phyla Earth, Ampergia Limited, Ayana Consulting, Pangaea Data Ltd., Invergy, BEM Group Ltd., DAX FIRST, Ransat Group, Cogo Ecotech Solutions, Empathy AI, Money for Business Limited, DAM Healthcare Limited and Helion.
Yadav also held round-table conferences with the representatives of various companies. Electronic vehicles (EV), automobile and renewable energy, education and food processing figured in the discussion.
