In Mulund area of Mumbai, a conflict between two groups over cigarette smoke turned into violence, resulting in the incident. One group's members assaulted someone from the other group using a knife, causing severe injuries. After the attack, the suspect ran away from the area. His friends hurried him to Sion Hospital, where he is said to be in a stable condition.
According to a report by Mid-day, 24-year-old Vishal Kamble was seen smoking cigarettes with his friends Sahil Gaikwad and Sharad Pawar outside Vasant Garden in Mulund.
A conflict occurred when the accused, who were seated close by, were exposed to the cigarette smoke. The dispute intensified,as the accused stabbed the victim with a knife, as reported by a Mulund police official.
According to the victim's report, two suspects, Pratik Ramu Parte (20) alias Nonia, and Tushar Raju Pawar (20) alias Bibya, have been arrested by the Mulund police.
