A car caught fire after a man recklessly burst firecrackers throughs its sunroof. The incident was reported from the Saharanpur area of Uttar Pradesh.

It was during a wedding celebration that people were engaged in bursting firecrackers, however, they did so in a risky manner.

Instead of lighting the crackers safely on an open road, two youngsters burst them from the sunroof of their car. This set the car on fire after sparks from the crackers fell on the vehicle, fuming the boxes of firecrackers inside. The incident left two people injured.

Shocking visuals from the incident have surfaced online. A video from the spot records the moment when the carelessly-burst firecrackers set the wedding car on fire.

The incident was reported from the wedding 'baraat' of a resident of the Gandweda village in the state. The groom's procession was said to be leaving for Dehradun at night when the celebration took a dangerous turn.

The clip showed a decorated car sparked on the roadside to burst firecrackers, while regular traffic kept passing by. People witnessed the celebration and fortunately escaped unhurt.

Two people in the car were affected when their activity led to fire in the car. The duo was reportedly rescued by the groom's brother, Javed. According to reports, both youths underwent treatment after the car caught fire due to their activity.
