Fight over pagdandi...
According to information, Narad came to his maternal uncle's house on Tuesday evening. There, he had a dispute with a village sarpanch and family. Notably, Narad's maternal family and Sarpanch family had constructed a bore dug for the supply of water to the fields and other purposes.
From this bore, Narad's maternal uncle used to irrigate the land and the sarpanch family used to take water for the hotel. But, sarpanch Padam Dhakad and his brother Mohar Pal Dhakad had carved a narrow road (pagdandi) to their hotel via Narad's uncle land. This led to frequent disputes between the two parties. Narad objected and asked them to deconstruct the road but sarpanch refused.
Following this, Narad uprooted the borewell pipe-line and threw it away. After this, a fight broke out and Sarpanch Padam Dhakad, and his family. They then started thrashing Narav with sticks and he died on the spot.
The on-lookers informed the police and police reached the spot. The police then sent the body for post-mortem in Medical college and informed Narad's family. The family then created ruckus in the hospital and demanded action. The police then registered a case against the eight accused in Kotwali police station.
Initially, a case is being filed under sections of murder against the Sarpanch and members of his family.
