Ola Electric has opened bookings for its newly launched Gig and S1 Z series scooters at a nominal fee of Rs 499. Designed to cater to diverse customer needs, these scooters come with removable batteries, offering practical solutions for personal and commercial use across rural, semi-urban, and urban areas. With this new lineup, Ola aims for a wide range of users. Deliveries for the Ola Gig series are set to commence in April 2025, followed by the S1 Z.

The Ola Gig+, priced at Rs 49,999, targets workers requiring higher payload capacity and longer distances. It offers dual battery options with a range of up to 157 km and a top speed of 45 kmph.
For urban commuters, the Ola S1 Z is tailored to balance style and performance. Priced at Rs 59,999, it delivers a top speed of 70 kmph, dual removable batteries with a range of 146 km, and features like an LCD display and physical key. Meanwhile, the Ola S1 Z+, at Rs 64,999, combines personal and light commercial use with its durable design, 146 km range, and top speed of 70 kmph. With these launches, Ola aims to provide cost-effective and versatile solutions for both personal and professional mobility needs.
Ola Electric has also unveiled the Ola PowerPod, a compact and practical solution for portable power needs. Priced at Rs 9,999, the PowerPod features a 1.5kWh battery with a maximum output of 500W, making it suitable for powering small household appliances and essential devices. It can run 5 LED bulbs, 3 ceiling fans, a TV, a Wi-Fi router, and charge a mobile device for up to 3 hours, offering reliable backup power in areas with inconsistent electricity. With its dual functionality as an inverter, the PowerPod is designed to benefit users in semi-urban and rural regions, aligning with Ola’s vision of accessible and sustainable energy solutions.
