DIMAPUR — MGM Hr. Sec. School, Dimapur, conducted its annual sports and games from November 18 to the 21st at Sewak Grounds, Midland, with KV Nagraja Kumar, Chief Engineer, Project Sewak, as the guest of honour of the inaugural ceremony held on November 19. In his address, the guest of honour lauded MGM School for giving emphasis to sports and games activities, besides their excellent academic performance and activities, an update stated. Kumar exhorted the students that participation in sports activities not only keeps one fit and healthy, but helps in overall personality development and growth as an individual. He also said that in today’s world where most people are spending too much time on social media, one must select a sport as a hobby and try to play regularly. He further encouraged the students to participate in games with sportsman spirit.
