KOHIMA — A National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) peer team visited Don Bosco College in Kohima on November 21 and 22 for the re-assessment of the college’s first NAAC cycle, which was conducted in March 2021. An update from the college stated that the peer team was led by Dr. Ashok Singh, vice chancellor of Sant Gahira Guru University, Sarguja, Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, as the chairperson. The team also included Dr. Indira Mahendravada, a former professor in the department of Economics at the University of Mysore, Karnataka, as the member coordinator, and Dr. Tarani Kara, principal of FM Autonomous College, Balasore, Odisha, as a member. During the two-day visit, the team verified and assessed both the qualitative and quantitative aspects of the college. On the first day, the programme included PowerPoint presentations by the college principal, the IQAC coordinator, and the heads of departments. This was followed by interactions with students, academic and non-academic staff, governing bodies, parents, and alumni, along with a physical verification of the college facilities.
