DIMAPUR — The Baptist Theological College (BTC) in Pfütsero under Phek district marked its 80th anniversary this year, tracing its humble beginnings to February 15, 1944, when the Bible School in Chayaba was established. An update from the college stated that the year-long celebration of the milestone culminated with a vibrant cultural night programme on November 21 at the main hall (Tabernacle) of BTC, T Chikri, Pfutsero. Students representing various tribes and ethnic groups presented captivating songs and dances at the event. The event was as part of the 97th convocation of the Senate of Serampore College (University), hosted by BTC, Pfutsero. It stated that BTC has persevered by overcoming numerous challenges, driven by the vision and resilience of its pioneers and sustained by the faithful support of its community.
