DIMAPUR — Under the aegis of the placement cell of the College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Central Agricultural University , Jalukie, Peren district, a one-day career counselling-cum-interaction programme was organised for the students on Thursday. According to an update, speaking on the occasion, Dr. I Shakuntala, dean, highlighted the importance of career counselling and motivational talks to inspire students of the college to pursue their desired careers rather than solely seeking government placements. She expressed that the job market is highly competitive and challenging. Therefore, organising such events is the need of the hour for the greater benefit of the student fraternity. Dr. Pankaj Lal Gogoi, director of Northeast Agrovet Pvt. Ltd., and Dr. Tridib Kakoty, a veterinary private clinician from Shillong, Meghalaya, served as resource persons.
