DIMAPUR — Elaborating on several development activities undertaken by the government, Nagaland Governor, La. Ganesan, called upon the local communities and civil societies of Kiphire district to work hand-in-hand with the government, both at the centre and state for sustainable and progress development. The governor, who visited Kiphire district on Tuesday, stated this during a meeting with the head of departments and members of civil society organisations held at the conference hall of the deputy commissioner’s office. He has termed Kiphire district as a vibrant and promising district and appreciated the richness of its culture and people. He highlighted the Pradhan Mantri TB Muk Bharat Abhiyan, an endeavour to eliminate TB by 2025 five years ahead of the global target, and urged the healthcare authority to enhance awareness on the PMEGP TB Muk Bharat Abhiyan. He also spoke on JJM, CMHIS and Ayushman Bharat, a DIPR report stated.
