DIMAPUR — Kibami Lagha Küqhakulu Nagaland (KLKN) on Tuesday celebrated its silver jubilee at Agri Expo Site in Chümoukedima on the theme “Lakhi Eno Sükusho” (Oneness, unity and protection). Interacting with media persons, KLKN president Dr. Atoshe Kiba stated that the initiative was not aimed at separating from the Sumi community but to foster mutual support and deepening bonds within their clan. He mentioned that the aim was to cement their love for one another, help and acknowledge each other, while remaining an integral part of the Sumis. He shared that the main purpose of KLK Nagaland was to explore the genealogy of their ancestors, document their history and pass it on to future generations, which he said is an ongoing process. He mentioned that their focus on grassroots research and the revival of historical narratives reflect their aspiration to build a stronger, more connected future for the next generation.
