DIMAPUR — The All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA), Dimapur unit, celebrated ANTA raising day-cum-annual picnic at Roben picnic spot, Doyapur Road, on Monday. Ghunato Chophy, president of ANTA, Dimapur unit, exhorted the drivers and owners to continue to uphold the association’s’ motto ‘Service to public,’ an update stated. Chophy also urged the drivers to take utmost concern for the safety of the passengers and warned that any driver driving under the influence of alcohol will be strictly dealt with as per the rules and regulations of ANTA. On the occasion, the unit’s best disciplined driver’s award (two categories) went to Chengmei Konyak and Viyito Ayemi. Vinito Assumi presented the general secretary’s report, while Boshika Yepthomi gave the audit report. Kughaho Futhena, ACC chaired the formal programme, which was followed by games and sports.
