DIMAPUR — MGM Higher Secondary School, Dimapur celebrated its 38th annual day at the school premises with pomp and gaiety on November 8. The programme, presided over by Alexios Mar Eusebius, Metropolitan of Calcutta Diocese and president of the school, commenced with Bible reading and invocation prayer by Manju Mathew, followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, an update stated. In his presidential address, Alexios congratulated the school administration and teachers for their tireless efforts in bringing notable achievements. He paid rich tribute to the founder of the school, late Dr. Stephanos Mar Theodosius. He said that despite shortcomings, “we are committed to the vision and mission of the school to full fill the dream of the founder of the school.” “The school celebrates its 38 years of hard work, determination, growth, resilience and collaboration. The journey together was worthwhile because of all the learning, fun, values and skills our students have acquired with the help of our teachers and the support staff,” he added.
