DIMAPUR — Patkai Christian College (PCC) Autonomous commemorated its golden jubilee on Saturday at the PCC campus, drawing students, faculty, alumni, and guests to celebrate the college’s history and legacy. A press statement from the college mentioned that, on the occasion, Rev. Dr. Tuisem A. Shishak, the founder and principal emeritus of PCC, unveiled the jubilee monolith. During the event, a drama titled “Genesis of Patkai,” presented by PCC’s drama club, depicted the journey of the college’s founder and his wife, late Margaret Shishak. An alumna also delivered a tribute to late Margaret. On the occasion, the college’s principals were recognised for their contributions to the institution. Rev. Dr. Tuisem A. Shishak, principal from August 28, 1974, to August 31, 2004, was honoured for his vision and dedication. Also recognised were Rev. Judson Rungsung (September 1, 2004, to September 30, 2009), Mr. Kolezo Chase (September 1, 2009, to March 31, 2010), Mr. Hūsazū Epao (April 1, 2010, to March 31, 2020), and the current principal, Dr. Thepfuvilie Pierü, who has served since April 1, 2020.
