Wimberlygunj, Dec. 27: The District Administration, South Andaman has intensified its efforts to address the issue of encroachments through continuous eviction drives across the District. This initiative aims to remove unauthorized structures and restore Government lands and public spaces from encroachments by unscrupulous elements.

In a recent drive, encroachment in the shape of temporary structure at North Bay village was removed by the revenue officials of Ferrargunj tehsil. A total area of 1000 Sq. Mtr Government land was cleared of unauthorized structures and returned to its original status.
