Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 28: Working professionally and diligently, the team of Police Station Chatham successfully apprehended one accused involved in a case of criminal breach of trust and fraudulent mortgage of gold.

On 30^th June, 2024, a complaint has been lodged by Smti. V. Sumathi at PS Chatham against her brother-in-law P.K. Murugeshan, S/o P. Krishnan R/o Anarkali. The complaint alleged that Murugeshan had mortgaged her gold ornaments without her consent or knowledge at Muthoot Finance and fled the Islands with the proceeds. Upon this, an FIR was filed under the relevant sections of the law at PS Chatham.
