Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 15: The one-week compulsory training course on Coastal and Marine Biodiversity of Island Ecosystem for the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Officers conducted by Zoological Survey of India, Andaman & Nicobar Regional Centre, A & N Islands during 11th - 15th November 2024 culminated today. The training course organized in collaboration with Department of Environment and Forests, sponsored by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India. A total of 21 senior level Indian Forest Officers (IFS) participated from various States & Union Territory (AGMUT, Andhra Pradesh, Telengana, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Odhisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Haryana).
