The ED has attached properties worth Rs 4 crore belonging to Punjab Congress MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira, linked to drug smuggling proceeds. The investigation revealed Khaira received Rs 3.8 crore from a drug syndicate. He was arrested in November 2021, and chargesheets were filed against him and his associates, including Gurdev Singh.
