The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has finalised a deal with SpaceX to use its Starlink internet system for modernising IT networks. This decision has raised concerns about whether Elon Musk, the owns SpaceX, holds excessive influence over the government. Critics say that it is contradictory for a person, who has links to the Donald Trump administration and advocates for federal budget cuts, including at the FAA, to simultaneously benefit from substantial government contracts.
