Malaysia has agreed to restart the search for Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, more than a decade after the aircraft disappeared. The decision follows a proposal by exploration firm Ocean Infinity, with a $70 million reward tied to significant wreckage discovery. The new effort will cover 15,000 square kilometres in the southern Indian Ocean. Transport Minister Anthony Loke emphasised Malaysia’s commitment to finding answers for the victims’ families. Previous searches in 2018 and 2017 failed to locate the wreckage.
